Article1

The Branch shall be called the Tohoku Branch of the Japan Society
for Precision Engineering. |
Article2
|
The Branch office shall be located in Sendai. |
Article3
|
The Branch members shall be members
of the Japan Society for Precision Engineering
who live or work in Aomori Prefecture, Iwate
Prefecture, Yamagata Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture
and Fukushima Prefecture. |
Article4
|
The Branch Committee shall consist of the
following members: the Chairman, Vice-Chairman,
Executive Directors, Directors, Advisory
Directors. Advisory Directors shall be elected
from Branch Regular Members. Directors shall
be elected from Advisory Directors. The Chairman
and the Vice-Chairman shall be elected from
Directors at the Branch Committee Meeting.
Executive Directors shall be appointed by
the Chairman. |
Article5

The Chairman shall be in charge of the Branch
and shall preside at the Branch Assembly,
the Branch Committee Meetings, and the Director
Meetings. The Vice-Chairman shall be responsible
for assisting the Chairman and shall act
in place of the Chairman when the Chairman
has an accident. Executive Directors shall
be responsible for assisting the Chairman
in dealing with the daily duties of
the Branch. Directors shall be responsible
for assisting the Chairman in dealing
with affairs of the Branch. Advisory Directors
shall be responsible for dealing with important
affairs of the Branch. |
Article6

The term of the Branch Committee Members
shall last for two years. The Branch Committee
Members shall be eligible for election to
consecutive terms. |
Article7
|
Members who served as the Chairman in the
past shall be called the Past-Chairmen. The
Past-Chairmen shall be able to attend the
Branch Committee Meetings and have the right
to vote. |
Article8
|
The events of the Branch shall be referred
to Article 5 of the Constitution of the Japan
Society for Precision Engineering except
issuing official publications. |
Article9
|
The events of the Branch shall be determined
at the Branch Assembly and the Branch Committee
Meetings. The Branch Assembly shall be opened
once a year, at which the annual reports
shall be made, the annual budget shall be
voted, and other necessary agenda shall also
be discussed. The Branch Assembly shall be
opened when the necessity arises. The Branch
Committee Meetings and the Branch Director
Meetings shall be opened by the Chairmen
when necessity arises. |
Article10 |
Decisions shall be made only by a majority
of votes at the Branch Assembly, the Branch
Committee Meetings, and the Branch Director
Meetings. No decisions shall be made at the
Branch Assembly if the presence of more than
1/4 of the Branch Regular Members (including
the letters of attorney) is not achieved.
No decisions shall be made at the Branch
Committee Meetings if the presence of more
than 1/4 Branch Committee Members is not
achieved. |
Article11 |
The Chairman shall report the decisions made
at the Branch Assembly and the Branch Committee
Meetings to the President of the Japan Society
for Precision Engineering. The agendas of
the Branch Assembly, the Branch Committee
Meetings, and the Branch Director Meetings
shall be recorded in the minutes. |
Article12 |
The expenses of the Branch shall be paid with the subsidy from the Japan Society for Precision Engineering, contributions and other incomes. |
Article13 |
The official year is April 1 to March 31 of that year. |
Article14 |
Amendment of any part or parts of the Constitution
shall be approved by the Board of Directors
of the Japan Society for Precision Engineering
after the approval at the Branch Assembly.
